Alias “Paulette Huntesque” World famous gymnastics comedian! Paul has coached in Utah since 1974. He was the coach of Utah’s first Olympic level gymnast. He has coached many state, regional and national champions.  Paul has had many of his gymnast receive college scholarships for gymnastics, including the University of Utah. Paul was a national champion himself. He competed for the University of Illinois. In 1969, Paul was Illinois State All Around Champion, 1971 Big 10 Floor exercise champion, 1972 National floor exercise champion. In 1971, Paul started performing his infamous “Paulette Huntesque” comedy routines. It

was a parody of women’s gymnastics routines. “Paulette” evolved from coaching girls, and demonstrating what they were doing wrong, and how to improve. Paul has performed all over the world with is “Paulette” comedy routines. He has toured with many superstars of gymnastics, such as, Olga Korbut, Nadia Comaneci, Mary Lou Retton, Kim Zmeskl, Shannon Miller and many others. Paul has toured with the U.S., Russian, Romanian and Chinese Olympic Teams. Paul has been featured on Wide World of Sports and America’s funniest videos.  Paul Hunt has been known as the best gymnastics clown in the world.  *Watch Paulette’s comedy routines on youtube.com

Jessica Hunt

Nikki competed from 1974 to 1978 as a Class 1 competitor under Paul Hunt.  In 1978, she was a member of the 1st place, AAU Elite National Championship Team.  Nikki started coaching for Paul Hunt in 1978.  Nikki has choreographed and coached many national and elite floor exercise and balance beam champions.

Nikki Chavez

Jessica Hunt, daughter of the infamous Paul Hunt.  Born in Salt Lake City, UT in 1986.  Jessica has been involved in gymnastics since birth, since her dad has owned Hunt’s Gymnastics Academy.  At age 7, Jessica started competing in gymnastics. Over the years, she has won many awards at the State and Regional Levels. With her dad being the famous gymnastics clown, “Pauletta Huntesque,” Jessica had the opportunity to travel around the United States performing with him in the Olympic Tours.  Jessica has been coaching gymnastics at Hunt’s Gymnastics Academy since she was 15 years old.  In 2007, Jessica joined an acrobatic team called The Xtreme Team.  They perform at all the Utah Blaze home games.  The Utah Blaze is Utah’s indoor arena football team. Jessica graduated from the University of Phoenix with a business management degree in 2009. 

Jenny Diamond


Jenny started gymnastics at the age of 6 at Hunt's Gymnastics with Nikki Chavez and Paul Hunt as her coaches. Throughout her gymnastics career she was able to reach level 10 and eventually obtain a full ride scholarship to California State University, Sacramento. During her 4 years on the Sacramento State team she competed Vault, Beam and Floor in all competitions and was voted the Women Athlete of the Year for the University as well as the Mountain Pacific Sports Federations Conference Gymnast of the year. Jenny graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Administration. Currently, Jenny is a Level 1-9 rated gymnastics Judge. During the competing season you will often see her judging local competitions.  Jenny has a wonderful husband Steve, and 2 energetic children, Logan and Alyssa.
